搪磨实际上是“镗孔”加工与“珩磨”加工点简称。发动机工作一段时间后,会有磨损,使得缸套(缸筒)磨偏失圆,必须经过重新镗孔找圆,加大尺寸,镗加工后,由于粗糙度达不到要求,所以再加一道工序,叫作珩磨,就是在一个支架上安装一组油石条,固定在类似钻床的珩磨机上,边旋转,边上下来回移动,主要是用来提高粗糙度。

摩托车缸套镗大后,转速高了,开了快。缸套内表面激光表面处理(淬火),选用花纹状而不是整体,对活塞有利。
