Job description: · Be responsible for the design and fabrication of optical-mechanical components, the integration of electro-optical parts into various laser medical systems. · Establish the infrastructure for manufacturing mechanical parts- machining, plastics injections and also assembly. · Be involved with the development of advanced laser applications, including precision engineering of optical components and systems. Applications include laser and medical systems. · The successful applicant will join a growing research and development group activity pursuing new products and thus must be a person who is a team player and who has initiative, willingness to take responsibility for development tasks, and a desire for growth and opportunity across a variety of products. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer from a respected university,MS. or Ph.D. is a plus. · Knowledge and experience with international companies- medical and optical are preferred. · Knowledge and experience with mechanical parts manufacturing technologies. · 3+ years of experience using the design tool AutoCAD, Solid Works or Pro/E. · Knowledge of conventional manufacturing and fabrication technologies. · Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the group and global colleagues. |
