+ ]% i/ Q# B9 L" i1 X: ~7 W: VTo determine cleanliness of fittings by passing fluid thru passageways that deposit particles onto 5 micron (0.005mm) filter paper. The filters are placed in oven at 100 degrees centigrade for 60 minutes, removed from oven and weighed, then Acetone is sprayed thru fittings passageways onto filters where particles are collected. Next, the filters are placed in oven for 60 minutes, then removed from oven and examined under microscope for particles that are measured for length and weight, with finally recording results on data sheet. Only the largest particle located on each filter is measured and recorded. One samples from one part number presented below were used for testing purposes. |
