Learning German is a fresh advice for me, it absolutely requires a great deal of determination.
Don't just learn hard, learn smart. Get to know your own learning curve, install smart apps on your phoen to help learning in a more natural way. Apps like Duolingo, Linguee, etc. comes in real handy on your smartphone.
Pay for a good proxy and gain access to Google and Youtube. Lots of channels over Youtube with native Germans teaching Deutschkurs in English. They are meant for English speakers but it's better than having nothing.
Nail the alphabet and pronouciation before proceding with gender, volcabulary and gramma. Tips are all available over Youtube.
